Privacy Policy

PixDream ("we", "us") is an AI image generation service operated by Eetu Myllynen in Finland. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what your rights are. We keep it short on purpose — there is no fine print hiding anything.

1. What we collect

• Anonymous account data. Every visitor gets a random account key stored in your browser's local storage. It is not linked to your identity unless you register.
• Registration data (optional). If you create an account: your email address and a password. Passwords are stored only as a salted cryptographic hash (scrypt) — we cannot see or recover your password. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and a provider user ID; we never see your Google/Apple password.
• Content you create. The text prompts you submit and the images generated from them, so that your gallery works.
• Purchase records. Order ID, credit pack, price, and payment status. Payments are processed by NOWPayments — we never see or store your wallet keys, card numbers, or full payment details.
• Affiliate payout details. If you request a payout, we store either your USDT wallet address or your IBAN and account holder name, together with the payout record.
• Technical logs. Standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) kept for security and abuse prevention, retained up to 30 days.
• About-page statistics. When the About page is requested, we increment an aggregate view counter. To estimate daily unique visits, the IP address and browser user-agent are used momentarily to calculate a secret-keyed code that changes each day. The raw IP address and user-agent are not stored in this statistic. Daily codes are deleted shortly after the day ends; only aggregate daily totals remain.

2. Cookies and tracking

• Essential storage. We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to remember an affiliate/referral code. This is strictly necessary to run the service and is always on; it is not used for advertising.
• Advertising measurement (only with your consent). If you accept it in the cookie banner, we load the TikTok pixel to measure how our advertising performs. It stays disabled until you accept, and you can decline or change your choice at any time from the cookie banner.
• The first-party About-page counter does not place a cookie or a new browser-storage identifier on your device.
• No selling or renting of your data to anyone, ever.

3. How your data is used

• To provide the service: generating images, keeping your gallery, crediting purchases.
• To prevent abuse: rate limiting, bot protection, filtering of prohibited prompts.
• To understand whether visitors use the About page and improve how the service explains who is behind it.
• To meet legal obligations, such as bookkeeping records of purchases.

4. Who your data is shared with

• AI image provider. Your prompt text is sent to our image generation provider (currently Pollinations) to produce your image. Prompts are submitted in private mode and are not published by us. Do not include personal information in prompts.
• NOWPayments processes crypto payments. Their own privacy policy applies to data you provide at checkout.
• Your bank or Wise. If you request an IBAN payout, the necessary payout details are used only to make the manual EUR bank transfer.
• Google / Apple only if you choose to sign in with them.
• Hosting. All data is stored on our own server in the European Union (Finland).

5. How long we keep it

• Account, gallery and images: until you delete them or ask us to delete your account.
• Purchase records: as long as bookkeeping law requires.
• Affiliate payout records: as long as bookkeeping law requires.
• Server logs: up to 30 days.
• About-page daily pseudonymous codes: until shortly after the end of the same day. Aggregate daily view and estimated-visitor totals contain no visitor identifier and are retained as service statistics.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

You can ask us at any time to: access the data we hold about you, correct it, delete your account and data, or export your data. Email us and we will handle it within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).

7. Age requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use PixDream, and at least 16 (or have a guardian's consent) to register an account.
